Megan Tharp Wins Pre-Teen Title

Megan Taylor Tharp of Bainbridge won the title of Miss Pre-Teen Georgia Royal Miss that was held in Atlanta, Georgia November 3rd-5th. 

Megan competed against 58 other girls ages 10-12.   She competed in modeling,  personal interview, talent, on stage communication, and gown and beauty.  She was awarded the talent award, most photogenic, overall facial beauty, prettiest dress, and the prestigious title.  She was awarded a scholarship, and her entry fees paid for the National pageant to be held January 4th thru 7th. 

Now, not only will Megan represent Bainbridge and the state of Georgia, but she will also have brunch with the Governor at the state capital in two weeks.

Megan also holds the titles of Jr. Miss Cairo, Miss SWGA Peach Princess, Junior Miss Alabama Angel, Little Miss Miller-Seminole Forestry, Teen Miss Peachtree, Junior Miss Dreamworld U.S.A., Southwest Georgia’s Our Little Miss, and has represented several other titles over the past few years. 

Megan is the 10 year old daughter of very proud parents Jeff and Lisa Tharp.  She is the granddaughter of Kathy Eakin of Cotton Georgia, David Tharp of Quincy Florida, and the late Pat Tharp of Donalsonville.  Her great Grandparents are Jeanette Eakin of Bainbridge, and the late Dick Eakin. Everyone wish her luck as she represents our town!
